Sharon Stephenson reviews Bolton Hotel

Armed with an illustrious journalism career and a finely-tuned eye for hotels, we were thrilled to host the acclaimed travel writer Sharon Stephenson for her trip to Wellington.
Winner of Cathay Pacific's Travel Writer of the Year and boasting credits in North & South magazine and the Sunday Star Times, Stephenson's taste for travel is certainly discerning.
So it was not without some trepidation that we awaited her review, though we needn't have worried; from Bolton Hotel's location to Executive Chef MacLean Fraser's menu, Sharon was full of nothing but praise for our Wellington city centre hotel.
Highlights for Stephenson included the luxurious and stylish Premier Suite with its fully-stocked kitchen, our location by the Beehive (ideal for playing spot the politician) and the hotel's celebration of Kiwi artist Rita Angus.
